Master Bakers in Abuja have agreed to increase the prices of bread over the high cost of items for baking.
It was learnt that a bag of sugar now cost N72,000, a bag of flour cost N45,000, a bag of milk increased to N105,000 and butter is sold for N30,000 and oil goes for N44,000.
One of the bakers who spoke to our reporter said the plans to increase the price of bread has been concluded.
She said the increment will also affect the price of other confectionery in the nation’s capital.
